A classic in Austrian cooked desserts
Plum butter is one of the key ingredients in celebrated Austrian cooked desserts, and it is a down-to-earth and familiar addition to the breakfast table. Its deep flavour is able to develop thanks to a complex manufacturing process. For 100 g plum purée, 140 g fruit is processed, flavoured with cloves, cinnamon, aniseed and star anise and allowed to reduce.
