Ingredients (for 1 large pie form or 4 small ones)

220 g of butter
100 g of sugar
1 pinch of salt
1 egg (class L)
1 pack of Vanilla sugar
300 g of light spelt flour
3 tbsp. of ground poppy seeds
100 g of Elderberry Jelly
3 tbsp. of almond flakes
Icing sugar for decorative dusting



1. Knead all ingredients quickly Wrap the dough in cling film and allow to cool for 30 minutes Pre-heat the oven to 175 °C top and bottom heat Roll-out the dough between 2 layers of baking parchment, approx. 0.5 cm thick Place baking parchment in the pie forms Fill-in the dough, pull-up around the side, press-in using a fork, than put holes in the base. 


2. Cut-out stars from the remaining dough. Spread jelly among the forms, sprinkle with almonds and spread the stars on top. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, take out and allow to cool, then decoratively dust with icing sugar


TIP: You can use any jelly or preserve that you like. Plum is also really delicious!
