OBJECTIVE 1: Maintenance and further improvement of the high level of compliance with the existing certifications for food safety (IFS), processing of goods from organic associations (Demeter) and halal certification (NEW since 2019). These certifications help us to maintain the high level of food hygiene and safety.
OBJECTIVE 2: Climate-neutral production at the Hassfurt location and climate neutrality for our key product Maintal rose hip preserve extra (including the entire value chain). The avoidance of emissions is paramount to the company and the compensation of our CO2 emissions by participating in certified projects for CO2 reduction or the improvement of social conditions in developing countries comes second. Herewith we would like to fulfill our responsibility as a manufacturing company.
OBJECTIVE 3: Construction of a new deep-freeze and refrigerated warehouse. Energy-efficient technology (low energy consumption and a high heat recovery rate) is used.
OBJECTIVE 4: Expansion and further development of social sustainability, orientation towards the family and framework conditions within the working environment in order to be and remain an attractive employer in the region for our existing and future employees.
